MCI, which was launched in 2008, has presence in Johannesburg, New York, London, Silicon Valley (California) Harare, Nairobi and Lusaka. Her passion and mandate is to raise greatness and see purpose driven business people and professionals influence and reign in the marketplace.
She is an executive for a global Bank with over 30 years solid banking experience in Africa and including international work attachments with the World Bank Washing DC, Federal Reserve Bank New York and Standard Bank London.
Dr Zie is currently an Audit Committee member for the South Africa (SA) ’s Department of Mineral Resources and previously she was Audit Committee chairperson for the SA Department of Public Enterprises’ (for nine years). Audit Committee Chairperson at the Public Service Commission, Chairperson of the Gauteng Provincial Government Cluster Two Audit Committee.
Dr Zie has an MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School and is also a Chartered Certified Accountant UK. She completed a Leadership programme (PLD) with Harvard Business School in Boston Massachusetts, USA. She is also an accredited fellow for the Macro-Economic Institute for East and Southern Africa Central Banks (MEFMI) In honour of her contribution towards marketplace transformation, in 2012 she was appointed as United Nations representative NGO special consultative status and accredited to UN Geneva, Switzerland.
