When we first started planning, I said no videographer... I wasn't going to waste our money on it. Then, my cousin got married and I watched his wedding sneak peak. It was absolutely fantastic & completely changed my mind about having a videographer. That l said, we were able to add on to our budget a videographer. We aren't running ourselves dry getting one.
As far as your guests feeling uncomfortable with a camera in their face, I've never felt that way at any wedding I've been to with a videographer.
After my wedding the whole DVD turned out wonderful & we even got 2 additional DVDs for each set of our parents! I am really glad that we did the video in the long run because the day went by so fast that we honestly watched the DVD & remembered a bunch of stuff we had forgotten!
So do a favour on yourself by hiring a videography.
