Never select a wedding vendor you simply don’t trust. If you have a bad feeling about that professional or company, it’s best to trust your instincts and move on to the next candidate. You need that peace of mind that your vendors can be trusted to fulfill their end of the deal.
Get information from previous couples and other vendors
It’s always good to talk to previous couples who have worked with the vendor before. Most couples will recommend a vendor who offered them reliable services. You can also talk to the trusted vendors you have already selected and get to know if they get along with the people you are about to hire. This will help you to avoid drama on your big day.
Choose vendors whose services are within your budget
Wedding service providers will charge different rates depending on the type of service they offer and that’s why it’s important to set a budget early enough. Make sure you are a little flexible when it comes to the budget instead of having a fixed rate. You may find trusted vendors who charge slightly more than what you had allocated for a particular service.
Book as soon as you can
We always advice couples to book wedding vendors as soon as they can because the best vendors are usually busy and their schedule can fill up while you are still deciding. Remember that you must get a contract from the vendor which clearly secures your date.
Don’t assume that the phone call or email conversation means you’ve booked their services. Set up a one on one meeting with the vendors you are serious about. Most importantly, research widely to determine the quality of work the wedding planners and designers are able to provide.
